Weekly Runs
Tuesday Morning Workouts: November-April. Jane Welzel’s speed workouts at the Grandview Cemetery, City Park, or Club Tico. Meet at 7:15am along the fence line just before the City Park Golf Course Parking lot (near the fire station on S. Bryan Ave). Typically get in between 3 and 6 miles worth of intervals and finishes up by 8:15 A.M.
Track Tuesdays: May-October. Jane Welzel’s track workouts at the CSU track at 6 P.M.
Trail Tuesdays: Weekly trail run at the trail head at the west end of Michaud Lane at 6 P.M.
Tuesdays & Thursdays: Raintree Athletic Club at 6 P.M. 5 to 6 miles average.
Wednesdays: Runners Roost group runs; different locations each week. 4-6 miles at 6:00 P.M. Call (970)224-9114
Thursdays: 6:00 P.M. Campus West near Cricket Store. Runs are 4-7 miles. Thursday night runs are also low key with a few runners showing up.
I really want to start running more and want more information on how join the training groups!
Hi Susanne. To join the training groups, just show up 5-10 minutes before the designated times at the designated locations and look for runners. That’s all there is to it! I don’t think any paperwork is needed in most, if not all, cases.

I’m looking for people to run with on the weekends. Are there any groups meeting on Sat or Sun?
Hi Christy. The Fort Collins Trailrunners and the Google AC-FC Group often have runs on the weekends (weekdays too).
Additionally, if you join (like) our Facebook page, you can post and see if other members would be interested in running on a specific day, time and place. More than 200 runners follow our Facebook page so you are bound to find many people who would love to run with you!
