Sundays until April 16, 2017 (except for first Sundays when FCRC Tortoise & Hare races are held): Horsetooth Half Marathon training runs. Starting locations alternate between New Belgium Brewery and Maxwell Open Space Reserve. Free and open to the public. More info here. (Organizer: FCRC)

Mondays, March-October: Daylight Savings Time marks the annual return of Altitude Running Fun Runs. These 3-5 mile runs leave from the store on the corner of College and Harmony @ 6:00 P.M. Check the Altitude Running Facebook page for more info. (Organizer: Altitude Running store).
Tuesday Night Track: Track workouts formerly organized by the late Jane Welzel continue at the CSU track at 6:00 P.M. They may be held year-round now, or close to it. (Organizer: TnT Running Google Group)
Trail Tuesdays: Weekly trail run at the trail head at the west end of Michaud Lane at 6:00 P.M. Rocky, hilly 4.75 mile loop around the ridge with 600 feet of ascent. Group stops to let everyone catch up several times along the way. Afterward, drive to the Trailhead Tavern for 2-for-1 burgers and beer. (Organizer: Fort Collins Trail Runners)
Wednesdays: Runners Roost Wednesday night runs, 6:00 P.M. Each Wednesday runners start running from the store, except for the last Wednesday of the month in which they meet at Equinox Brewery for a pub run. Runners who frequently attend these runs can also earn rewards in the Runners Roost’s Run Club Rewards Program. Runners Roost also holds other various events—check Runners Roost Facebook page. Thursdays: Starting March 16, 2017, FCRC group run starting at the Maxwell Open Space Reserve parking lot at 6:00 P.M. The usual workout will go up the first couple hills of the Horsetooth Half Marathon course. Pine Ridge trails from the same starting point will also be an option to hills or due to windy conditions. Thursdays (bi-weekly): Towers Handicap Time Trial Ascent from the Soderberg Trailhead at Horsetooth Mountain Park at 6:00 P.M. The time trial is 3.4 miles with 1,700′ vertical gain, but you need to come back down, so 6.8 miles round trip. (Organizer: Nick Clark)
Thursdays (bi-weekly): The weeks in between the bi-weekly Towers Handicap Time Trial ascents, there will be trail runs at Lory State Park. Meet at the Arthur’s Rock trailhead at 6:00 P.M. Runs are generally 5 miles or less, and the pace is social with all abilities are welcome. If you don’t have a Colorado State park pass (Horsetooth passes are not valid for Lory), the day fee is $7.
