Looking for a fun activity on New Year’s Eve? Check out this year’s FCRC Resolution Run – Fort Collins. Thanks to COVID, 2020’s edition is not a race, not a virtual run, but something a little bit different.
This year’s event is FREE – no pre-registration required. The start/finish is at Edora Pool Ice Center and the 5K course will be the same as last year. The course will be open all day, from 8:00am-7:00pm.
You are welcome to come whenever you like; there is no mass start. Essentially, you get a marked, measured & chip-timed 5K loop course (with additional timing points at miles 1 and 2) to come enjoy.
Masks will be required in the start/finish area. No more than two households can start together, with a 1 minute gap between groups if needed.
We’ll be collecting donations for our local chapter of the United Way for COVID relief efforts. We’ll have a collection of vintage shirts, mugs, and already-purchased-because-it-was-on-sale sparkling grape juice at the finish line. If you make a donation, you’re welcome to take your pick.
