Turkey Donut Predict Run – 4th Annual! November 17

Just you wait, because this isn’t your ol’ run-of-the-mill 5k. Runners have to estimate their finishing time prior to the start; we don’t allow time keeping devices of any kind. The top 3 people that come closest to their estimate win. So just because you’re fast doesn’t mean you’ll win this one.

The race is FREE and a fundraiser for the Food Bank of Larimer County. All are welcome to participate in the run, but you have to donate to be eligible for the raffle (which is where the real action is 🙂  See our Facebook Event for constantly updated listing of donated prizes.

The 5k will start at 8:30am – Please come early to get registered. The course will start in Rolland Moore Park back by the Tennis Courts.

All who donate receive a ticket for our infamous raffle, where we have prize packs from many local businesses and restaurants, over a dozen race entries, and much more! Our biggest giveaway of the year!

Lamar’s has donated donuts and we will coffee to keep your tummies happy.

This is a free event so come join the community and test out your legs for the upcoming turkey day races.

A donation to the Food Bank of Larimer County will get you a raffle ticket for the goodies.

Here are the most needed Items for the Food Bank donations:
Peanut butter (non-hydrogenated oil)
Canned meat/fish (chicken, salmon, tuna)
Canned Fruit in Fruit Juice
Whole Grain, Low Sugar Cereal
Whole Grain Pasta
Brown Rice
Macaroni and Cheese

And of course cash $$$ helps the most. They have resources to buy products at much, much deeper discounts than any of us could buy. If you already have donation items, great! If you’re going to go out and buy some, consider just donating the money instead. The $5 you spend on a 2 jars of PB could be turned into 10 jars through the Food Banks sources.
