The Tortoise and Hare race this Sunday, January 11th is an 8k. It will start at the Edora parking lot off of Stuart Avenue at 8 am by the baseball fields. Please be there no later than 7:45.
If you have not run a T&H race in the last two years, please enter a predicted time here at least one day before the race—it will help Nick, our race director, out immensely. Thanks!
Also, let’s bring our own coffee mugs to reduce waste again like last time!
Another Reason to Come!
For some added excitement, we’ll be giving away two free entries to the Sweaty Sweater 5k on January 24th. We will randomly pick two of the finishers of the Edora Park 8K T&H race; i.e., to be eligible, you must come out and run!
[Course map] Runners start in the Edora Park parking lot near the baseball fields – enter from the Stuart Avenue entrance. Head east on the Spring Creek Trail, crossing Riverside, Timberline & Prospect via the tunnels. Make a right on the Poudre Trail and pass back under Prospect and make left on Sharp Point Drive. Run alongside the Prospect Ponds Natural Area to the turnaround just before Midpoint Drive. Runners then retrace their steps back to the Edora Park finish.
See you there!
