The Tortoise and Hare is Fort Collins Running Club’s signature race series. It will help you improve your running abilities through the winter months.
This handicap series will allow runners of all abilities to be on equal ground. Runners will start based on their individual predicted time or their previous times. The “winner” is the most improved runner.
When you arrive, you will sign in and Nick will give you an exact start time. Please be at the starting line a little before your assigned time. Dogs and strollers are welcome.
As you cross the finish line, you will be given a stick with a number. Bring the stick back to the sign in table so we make sure we have your name with your number (this is how Nick gives you the accurate race time).
After the race, we’ll take a picture of the FCRC members present! There will be bagels and coffee for socialization.
RunningU members will have a brief meeting, picture, and introduction as well. This TnH kicks off the beginning of the 12 week commitment for Running U members this fall.
Let us know if you have additional questions!
