Today, June 4, is National Running Day! And what better way to celebrate than to go for a run?
I know! Sign up for the FireKracker 5k! Not only is it a fun Fourth of July race that the Fort Collins Running Club puts on every year, but FCRC members get $5 off (coupon code was e-mailed out to members yesterday) so just $20. That’s a really good deal.
Plus, in addition to the normal Citizen’s Race, for the first time ever there will be an Elite Race following the Citizen’s Race. Being able to watch some of the fastest runners in Colorado will be a real spectacle.
Remember that we are also looking for volunteers for this race. We will have more information on how to sign up as a volunteer very shortly.
