Our very own Nick Clark may appear very calm and collected while directing our monthly Tortoise & Hare races, but when he is out on the trail, he is an absolute beast. Most of us already knew that Nick—a husband and father of two with a full-time job as a writer/editor—was one of the world’s elite ultra-distance runners, but it is still nice to see him acknowledged as such in UltraRunning Magazine.
The magazine proclaimed the top 10 U.S. male and female ultrarunners of 2013, and Nick came in at an amazing #7!
In his genuinely humble style, Nick said, “Don’t be too impressed, the ultrarunning world is a small one, but thanks for the shout out.” Yet we are indeed impressed. Congratulations, Nick!
