Many, many thanks to all members who volunteered at the Firekracker 5K this morning!! What a turnout! We had around 1,170 registered participants and about 1,120 finishers. Could be a new record. To club members who volunteered, I will have a notation on your account that you get a $5 discount for each session you volunteered for when your FCRC registration is up for renewal.
A special thanks and kudos to Race Directors Lisa Sinclair and Ron Baker of Green Events and all of their families and friends who volunteered also! They put on a FANTASTIC race!! Lots of positive comments and only 2 disgruntled registrants who showed up at 7:45 and didn’t get a shirt. Can’t please everyone, although we do try!
