2025 USATF Colorado Long Distance Grand Prix
FCRC is happy to announce an exciting racing series opportunity for 2025 to ALL FCRC club members!
In collaboration with USATF and the running clubs of Colorado, this year we have the 2025 USATF Colorado Long Distance Grand Prix (there is still 2024 info on the site). This will begin on Saturday, July 12th at the Cookie Chase 5k at Sloan’s Lake in Denver, Colorado.
Event Information
This is a unique event where participants can compete both individually and as part of a team. Participants can earn points in various races to contend for the Grand Prix Series Team trophy. Additionally, there are cash prizes available for both open and masters’ categories. And, in male and female divisions.
• ALL FCRC members are eligible to compete. You do not need to be on the racing team.
• You must have an active USATF individual membership.
• The Grand Prix will consist of a total of five races. However, participation in all races is not mandatory.
• Age-graded scoring is utilized giving master runners the ability to showcase their talent.
• You earn points at each race based on your age-graded performance.
You will still need to sign up for the races on their individual race website, just as you would for any race. However, there will be a place for you to add your USATF membership number. This helps us track those in the Grand Prix. You will also need to verify your age per USATF requirements. You can reach out to Peter Webb for any questions.
