About the Race
The 42nd annual (2015) running of the Fort Collins Running Club’s Horsetooth Half Marathon features a scenic point-to-point road course from Hughes Stadium to New Belgium Brewery. Despite its hills, the course has net elevation loss and was the fastest half-marathon run in Northern Colorado in 2013!
The Horsetooth Half Marathon is one of the oldest and most popular races in Colorado, having begun in 1973. While the Fort Collins Running Club owns this event, it is organized and operated by Running Events Management LLC. Together we strive to create one of the best-run half-marathons in the country.
Online registration is available on Active.com.
Beginning in February, the FCRC will host a series of informal training runs specifically for the Horsetooth Half Marathon that are open to everyone!
More information on the Horsetooth Half Marathon, including packet pickup, directions to the start and finish, transportation, finish line party, bag retrieval, awards and more are available on the official Horsetooth Half Marathon website.
If you still have questions about the Horsetooth Half, please contact the race director, Steve Cathcart.
