About the Race

The 42nd annual (2015) running of the Fort Collins Running Club’s Horsetooth Half Marathon features a scenic point-to-point road course from Hughes Stadium to New Belgium Brewery. Despite its hills, the course has net elevation loss and was the fastest half-marathon run in Northern Colorado in 2013!

The Horsetooth Half Marathon is one of the oldest and most popular races in Colorado, having begun in 1973. While the Fort Collins Running Club owns this event, it is organized and operated by Running Events Management LLC. Together we strive to create one of the best-run half-marathons in the country.

Online registration will be available on soon when details are finalized.

FCRC members who wish to receive the a discount must register hard copy in store at Runners Roost Fort Collins or Altitude Running Fort Collins.

Training Runs

Beginning in February, the FCRC will host a series of informal training runs specifically for the Horsetooth Half Marathon that are open to everyone!
