Our summer Speed Building program is a low-key program aimed at speed improvement, particularly in conjunction with our track series. For this program to be productive and safe, we recommend a minimum base mileage of 20-30 miles per week before starting. While this is aimed at preparing runners for shorter track races, the speed is helpful for improving at any distance, not to mention the fact that it’s just fun!
Duration: 3.5 weeks (5/31-6/23 and/or 7/5-7/28)
Target Race: NoCo All Comers Track Meet (6/23 and/or 7/28)
Location: Tuesday Night Track (locations vary)
Meeting Days/Times: Tuesdays at 6:00pm
